Full Body Exfoliation
Spas perform this treatment to rid the body skin of dead cells and toxins, smooth the skin, and prepare it for moisturizing treatments that follow. A salt or sugar scrub or other gently abrasive product is generally used, and many spas concoct their own signature scents as part of a special treatment menu that is unique to their spa. Once the body is rinsed or wiped clean of the exfoliant, finishing lotion or oil may be applied to further moisturize and nourish the skin.
